Արդեն մի քանի շաբաթ է, ինչ ուզում էի գրել այս հետաքրքիր պատմության մասին։ Սակայն չէր ստացվում, քանզի չունեի նկարներ, որոնք կփաստեին այդ յուրօիրնակ դեպքը։ Սկզբում Կարո Հովասափյանին ծանոթացա Լույս Շաբաթաթերթի (Լույսը հրտատարակվում է Ա.Մ.Ն.ի Քալիֆորնիա նահանգի Գլենդել քաղաքում) պատրաստած հեռուստա հաղորդման ժամանակ, որի զրույցը վարում էր Ստեփան Քիրեմիջյանը։ Իսկ հետագայում կարդացի Լույս Շաբաթաթերթում եւ խնդրեցի Ստեփան Քիրեմիջյանին ինձ տալ Կարո Հովասափյանի նկարը, որտեղ նա ծածանում է մեր պետության՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության դրոշը։

Few weeks ago there was a TV program where Stepan Kiremidjian presented Karo Hovasapian, who first reached the summit of the Mountain Everest on May 30, 2005 at around 7:00am. Since then I wanted to write about this heroic act that Karo Hovasapian took, but I did not have any pictures of him. And later I found an article in Louys Weekly (Louys is Armenian weekly, printed in Glendale, CA, USA) about Karo Hovasapian. In that same article there was a photograph of Karo on the summit of the Mountain Everest, waving the Armenian Flag! So here we go now, you can see the picture.
